New Features/ Enhancements
- List FAQ categories in sitemap
- List categories under "RSS Feeds" in site map
- Web-based configuration. Previous versions used a rather long & unweildy
- Members area - add option to allow/ disallow public registration.
- Moved all of the "head content" and "foot content" files into the "unique" folder to avoid confusion when updating the CMS.
New Content Type - Directory
New DMOZ-Style directory allows you to run your own web directory. This new content area also displays thumbnails of the sites when they're displayed. The directory is also listed in the sitemap, the Google site map, and the Alexa SiteInfo file. Users can also rate directory listings just like Blog entries. Last, members of the general public can add listings, which are subject to your admin approval.
Code Cleanup & Bug Fixes
- Made the "next/previous" and the pagination features be custom PHP functions. Earlier versions were rather klunky, bloated, and inflexible.
- Enhanced the URL Validation functionality so that it could be used in many other places. Initially, it was sort of purpose-built for the guestbook whereas now it can be used for anything.
- Enhancement of the CAPTCHA functionality so it includes a check of the user's session ID
- Fixed the "check config" file so that the "errors" printed no longer ruin the formatting of the page.
- Banner impressions and banner counts were not being incremented properly
